I love the pattern of fan guards, they remind me of a drop of rain falling into a still pool. This piece was designed with that in mind - the "aftermath" of rain on water. Two sizes of fan guards are placed at varying heights on a 1/2" piece of MDF painted in variety of blues. The screws that hold the fan guards in place are flush mounted on the back (they do not protrude off the back but are sunk flush with the back of the board). Two small bumpers are place on the bottom corners to ensure the piece hangs straight off of a screw or nail.
Materials Used: fan guards, MDF board, acrylic, polyurethane, screws & nuts.
Completed: August 2011
