This was an exploration of texture and pattern. The photo was taken outdoors so it is rather shadowed but does show the texture nicely.  The colored swirls are made from gemstone chips.

Materials Used:  textured paint, amethyst, citrine, turquoise, rose quartz, amazonite, adhesive.
