In this piece I merely explored artistic uses for pull-tabs (pop-tabs) from soda pop cans, pet food cans, soup cans, etc.  I think the shape and variety of colors and sizes of the tabs were intesting when taken out of their context as a utilitarian and disposable item.  This has undergone numerous revisions.  I have finally settled on a circular piece. Sadly the process of collecting enough of the small pop tabs is taking a lot longer than I had hoped.  Eventually the small pop-can tabs will fill in the black circle.
