I started this piece with only the object that the dragon's wings came from ([link]). I love the color, texture and overall design of the statue so I really wanted to use it. I tried about a dozen concepts with it. I ended up with a rather random collection of golden shaded objects which kind of made an interesting digital collage-type piece.
