This was produced for a project called "Book Deconstruction / Reconstruction."  The goal of the assigment was the destroy a hardcover book and turn it into a piece of art that could resemble the book or not, the choice was ours.  I decided I wanted to go with a general theme of technology and nature.  The technology is represented by the wires, circuit boards, resistors, etc.  Nature was represented but it is all fake, like a lot of 'nature' that people display in their homes and offices.  I recycled some of the sculpty insects I created for "Rose Wall" in another class, and also used fake leaves, flower petals and images of nature in various (but fake) forms.
